The DC Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act of 2009 (Bill 18-482) was signed December 17, 2009 by Mayor Fenty and will become law after 30 days of Congressional review. But who keeps up on how many Congressional review days have passed? I read somewhere that the 30 day review period is expected to be completed by St. Patrick’s Day. It may be impossible to predict exactly when the 30 days will be up.
Update: The DC Council projected date when the same-sex marriage bill will become law can be found here by entering B18-482 into the search field.
