Obnoxious Rep. Jason Chaffetz too good for TSA Airport screening

October 6th, 2009 · Comments

Americans manage to calmly comply with airport security measures daily, even when those measures are sometimes dubious. However, Rep. Jason Chaffetz of the Mormon state of Utah apparently threw a profanity-laced tantrum because believes he has a God-given right not to be screened at the airport. Perhaps, Rep. Jason Chaffetz is fearful of body-image machines because the machines interfere with his tin foil hat. Why can’t he just wait his turn like the rest of us and quit acting like a spoiled member of Congress? What’s next? A special airport parking space?

You are right to make the Mormon connection in this story. Chaffetz is a garment-wearing, temple recommend-holding, secret-temple-covenant-making, priesthood-holding man on his earthly progression to a celestial kingdom where he is promised godhood of his own world and limitless sex with multiple wives for eternity as long as he earns it in this life. When you believe you are going to be a god in the next world, it's only logical that you will start thinking you are one in this world.

The snobbishness, arrogance, and holier-than-thou attitude of the high priest Mormons can only be understood in the context of the exaltation the cult promises to men in the afterlife if they are faithful to the cult in this life--not unlike the promises of virgins in paradise to the muslim fanatics.

Mormon AND Muslim hating. It's a two-fer! I personally can't stand those full body x-rays. The thought of a TSA employee perving out on people as they get scanned is not my idea of making airports safer. Here's a sample of what they can do now: http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/TRAVEL/05/18/...
