Mortgage bankers group sells D.C. offices for cheap. Funny how the people who helped create the housing bubble bailed out when times got rough. Some people will say it is karma but the taxpayers will end up paying for this in the end.

I honestly wish someone else can report on Bishop Harry “Butt Pirate” Jackson Jr.’s (of Beltsville, Maryland) anti-gay crusade but somebody has to do it. Now this totally fucked up “Bishop” is holding secret meetings in D.C. called “Pastors Standing for Marriage”. The group is nothing more than an anti-gay hate group for inner city African-American ministers. And also a perfect excuse to leave their wives for a couple of days of Ted Haggard style partying.
Lucky for me, some bigoted pastor named Garland Hunt of Atlanta, Georgia tweeted the following from Bishop Harry “Butt Pirate” Jackson’s secret Mormon-funded gay bashing junket in DC.
# In great meeting of Pastors Standing for Marriage in Washington DC. Marriage must be only between a Man and a Woman. about 14 hours ago from UberTwitter
Whoever this Garland Hunt preacher is, he has seriously fucked up values. He praises Michael Vick the animal abuser on Twitter but bashes glbt with his profoundly stupid anti-gay tweets. His Twitter bio states that he is a “Member, Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles”. That is disturbing. Garland Hunt is in charge of letting people out of prison but is himself a low-level piece of trash who gets off on taking fundamental rights away from hard-working people. Judy Garland Hunt needs to go fuck his church’s piano player and get out of D.C. politics. I hope prisoners file complaints against this obviously hateful minister who is not more qualified to sit on a parole board than a member of the Klan.

Why would 39 US Congressmen sign an amicus brief in a discriminatory case that is spearheaded by voter fraudster Bishop “Butt Pirate” Harry Jackson Jr? Even if Bishop Harry Jackson Jr. and his trailer trash evangelical backers are successful at forcing a vote on same-sex marriage, there is no guarantee a ban will pass. DC residents are sophisticated enough not to listen to a ghetto trash preacher from Beltsville, Maryland who fraudulently claims to live in Washington, DC. The people will vote and same-sex marriage will be legal.
The good thing in all of this is Bishop Harry Jackson Jr. will be preoccupied fighting against same-sex marriage in DC while the same-sex marriage battle is gearing up in Maryland this year.
You can send a letter to your Congressman at Save Gay Marriage DC.
Here is a list of the 39 Congressmen from Box Turtle Bulletin:

Bishop “butt pirate” Harry Jackson is scheduled to appear on Barry Lynn’s Culture Shocks Radio show tomorrow. I don’t know what the fake bishop is going to talk about but I hope the host challenges the fraud on his bigotry. Barry Lynn should hammer the bishop on who is paying the rent on the DC apartment he is claiming to reside.

The DC Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act of 2009 (Bill 18-482) was signed December 17, 2009 by Mayor Fenty and will become law after 30 days of Congressional review. But who keeps up on how many Congressional review days have passed? I read somewhere that the 30 day review period is expected to be completed by St. Patrick’s Day. It may be impossible to predict exactly when the 30 days will be up.
Update: The DC Council projected date when the same-sex marriage bill will become law can be found here by entering B18-482 into the search field.

The Dallas Voice is reporting that gay and lesbians are protesting the movie Avatar for the discriminatory absence of glbt people in the future. I’m sure this is some publicity stunt since none of the points make any sense (Sort of like John Aravosis’ failed DNC Boycott).
On Friday, December 18, 2009 thousands of people will be protesting the release of the James Cameron movie, Avatar. The purpose of the protest is as follows:
1) To make all people aware that heterosexual arrogance, assumptions or exclusions of alternative sexualities in movies is no longer acceptable. Diversity and tolerance are human rights.
2) To speak out for all gay, bi-sexual, genderless and transgender people who are not represented by any character in Avatar.
3) To educate people about Evolution and humanity’s transition to transgenderism.
All protests will be peaceful and non-confrontational. Suggested methods of protest:
* Stand outside of theaters with signs and pamphlets to express your views
* Sit down in theater lobbies and do not move unless the police use force or violence upon you
* Stand up during a viewing of Avatar and remain standing
* Buy tickets to Avatar in bulk but do not attend showings. An empty theater sends a message
* Bring your mate to the theater and show affection to each other.Reminder: SILENCE = DEATH. We will be silent no more.
This forum seems to think this story is a plant.

Yesterday, December 15, 2009, was a historic day for marriage equality in D.C.. The city council passed same-sex marriage which now must go to Mayor Adrian Fenty for approval. Congress has 30 working days after approval to reject this law but there is no serious threat yet.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz of the Mormon state of Utah is only member of Congress that is actively opposing this D.C. same-sex marriage bill. Rep. Jason Chaffetz is the nutty paranoid Congressman who is afraid of TSA airport screening because he thinks employees are laughing at his small penis on a computer screen. TSA employees are looking for items that could potentially cause harm not some random dude’s micro-penis.
Double-chinned Maggie Gallagher and failed metrosexual Brian Brown of the group National Organization Against for Marriage declared war against DC marriage equality. Here is the NOM reaction to the same-sex marriage bill.
(WASHINGTON) – The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) released the following statement today in response to the D.C. Council’s passage of a same-sex marriage bill:
“The people of D.C. have a right, guaranteed by the charter, which is D.C.’s constitution, to vote to protect marriage. Politicians on the city council are acting as if they have the right through legislation to deprive citizens of D.C. of their core civil right to vote, but we will not let them get away with it,” said Brian Brown, Executive Director of NOM. “We have one message for David Catania and the rest of these politicians today: this fight is not over. We will go to Congress, we will go to the courts, we will fight for the people’s right to vote and we will win!”
NOM has led successful campaigns to protect marriage in states across the country, including victories in California in 2008 and most recently in Maine in November, 2009, as well as legislative battles to block gay marriage in New York (where gay marriage failed in the Senate by a lopsided vote of 38 no to 24 yes).
To schedule an interview with Brian Brown, Executive Director for the National Organization for Marriage, please contact Elizabeth Ray, eray@crcpublicrelations.com, (x130) or Mary Beth Hutchins, mhutchins@crcpublicrelations.com, (x105) at 703-683-5004.
Since NOM is declaring a war, Culture Warrior will be declaring a war. It will be a war against stupidity. Same-sex marriage is here to stay.

Yesterday was the infamous Santa Speedo Run 2009 where countless half-naked men and women run in the streets to raise money for charity.
Pictures can be found here, here, and here.
Here are pictures from the Atlanta version of the Sanata Speedo Run. Also here is a video from the Virginia Santa Speedo Run.
I did not know that Dan and Sam from Amazing Race 15 are openly gay brothers. I never picked up on it. But then again I only watched occasionally. Here is a clip of the hot gay studs playing volleyball in the mud in only their underwear with hot Estonian men wearing black speedos.
